Last call for registration for Polish-Danish workshop on energy efficiency

At the beginning of December, Energy Regulatory Office and Danish Royal Embassy organize a Polish-Danish workshop on energy efficiency. The event will be held on 6th December 2011 at the Warsaw University of Technology Main Building in Warsaw.

At the turn of the two Presidencies, the workshop will focus on a common point of interest for Poland and Denmark: increasing energy efficiency by implementation of smart grids. For URE it will be also the last Polish Presidency event whereas for the Royal Danish Embassy, the final event of branding campaign “Danish sustainable living”.

Key workshop topics:

  • increasing energy efficiency
  • implementation of smart grids
  • Energy Efficiency Directive
  • financing energy efficiency projects
  • cooperation between Polish and Danish stakeholders

The workshop will start with an introductory session on the proposed EU Energy Efficiency Directive and on projects’ financing. The rest of the workshop will be divided into three separate sections - Regulation, Industry and Science - each followed by Q&A sessions.

Representatives of governments, European institutions, national regulatory authorities, TSOs and DSOs, ICT and financial sectors, representatives of academia, as well as Polish and Danish power companies are among invited guests.

The event will be also accompanied by a exhibition on energy efficiency presenting achievements of Danish and Polish companies. The exhibition will take place from 5 - 7 December 2011 at the Main Aula of Warsaw University of Technology.
