Natural Gas Import Prices in Q4 2024 Slightly Lower Year-on-Year
In the fourth quarter of 2024, the average price of natural gas imported from EU and EFTA member states participating in the European Economic Area (EEA) agreement stood at PLN 198.34/MWh. This represents a 1.4% decrease compared to the same period in 2023, when the price was PLN 201.20/MWh.
In Q4 2024, the price of gas purchased from EU and EFTA countries was 14% higher than the average price recorded in the third quarter of last year.

Since the start of 2023, the President of URE has also been publishing the average quarterly purchase price of natural gas imported from non-EU and non-EFTA countries that are part of the EEA Agreement.
In the fourth quarter of 2024, this price stood at PLN 151.19, marking a 13% decrease compared to the same period in 2023.
