Gas market: The President of the URE is initiating consultation on discounts, multipliers and seasonal factors applicable to natural gas transmission tariffs for 2027.

The consultation, which runs from 1 September to 1 November 2025, concerns the natural gas transmission networks owned by the Gas Transmission Operators, Gaz-System and the Transit Gas Pipeline System of EuRoPol GAZ.

The consultation is being carried out under Article 28 of the Tariff Code[1] on:

  1. the values of multipliers for short-term gas transmission services;
  2. the values and calculation of seasonal factors for short-term gas transmission services;
  3. the discounts established at the entries from the LNG terminal;
  4. the discounts applied to calculate the base prices of standard interruptible capacity products.

Those discounts, multipliers and seasonal factors will be used in settlements with users of the interconnected natural gas entry/exit system in 2027.

The regulatory authorities of all directly connected EU Member States and stakeholders can submit their positions using a dedicated form to the following email address: konsultacje.nctar@ure.gov.pl.

The consultation is in parallel with the consultations of GAZ-SYSTEM’s “Consultation Document for the Entry-Exit System In The Territory Of The Republic Of Poland In 2027-2031[2]. The reference pricing method it adopts assumes that the same method will be used from 2027 onwards for a single interconnected natural gas entry/exit system.

The President of the URE encourages participation in the consultation.
