Slight increase in electricity prices in the settlements of generators within corporate groups
The mean electricity price in corporate group generator settlements for 2025 Q3 was 456.69 PLN and more than 2 per cent higher than in 2024 Q3 (446.76 PLN/MWh).
The turnover volume in corporate groups also saw an increase from 24.82 TWh in 2025 Q2 to 26.72 TWh in 2025 Q3.
The President of the Energy Regulatory Office (URE) publishes the average quarterly electricity price for corporate group settlements since the beginning of 2023. Since 2023 Q1, the price has fallen by more than 47 per cent.

- Publication by the President of URE of the average quarterly electricity price in the settlements of capital group generators is mandatory for this Regulator as imposed by the July 2022 amendment to the Polish Energy Law[1].
- The calculations include the data from the implementation of contracts or group settlement agreements under which power generators sell, buy or settle electricity. This is the net price (without VAT) which includes the extra revenues or costs generated by contractual settlements.
